Marco Neer ‘26 loves local journalism! He is a co-Editor-in-Chief of The Cypress, the high school’s student newspaper, where he seeks controversial article topics and cleans up at the Egyptian Rat Slap table. In his spare time, Marco loves playing soccer, sparring at his Taekwondo school, and making hyper-specific music playlists. He hopes his podcast will give Brookline residents a new perspective on the dog parks they pass every day – since Marco’s dog, named Typhoon, isn’t very friendly, he was never exposed to this facet of Brookline life, though he finds it intriguing. Marco was thrilled when he was accepted to the fellowship and looks forward to spending the summer working on this crazy new project with a fun, talented group of people!
