Maggie McNeal

Maggie McNeal ‘27 loves her dog, her Goodreads, and being as close to an expert as she can in as many things as possible- which is why, upon realizing that she had little to no knowledge about her local government, she decided to center her podcasting journey around the inner workings and outside perception of Brookline's town government format. Maggie's biggest takeaway from her podcasting experience is that certain debates, like the format of local government, are very difficult to fully comprehend without years of expertise, but she hopes her podcast helps listeners feel at least a little more confident in their understanding of Brookline's government. Maggie's go-to procrastination tactics are reading, going for walks with her friends, and watching The Vampire Diaries. She is also a camp counselor, a dancer, and a member of Camerata Choir. She had an amazing time meeting fellow podcasters, interviewing people, and pushing herself out of her comfort zone this summer, and she can't wait to hear everyone's final product!
