Dev Gangaputra

Dev Gangaputra ‘27 is a creative and passionate student who is heavily involved in theater. When he’s not performing on stage as a part of the BHS Drama Society, he’s helping with theater outreach to Brookline middle schools or planning events for the Drama Society. He also helps write, produce, and direct shows for Spotlight Theater, a nonprofit theater company for middle schoolers. In his free time, Dev can be found reading just about anywhere. One of his favorite spots is the Brookline Booksmith, where he pops in every time he’s in Coolidge Corner. His love for both the Brookline community and the Booksmith inspired him to explore what the bookstore means to the people who visit it and the community that surrounds it. Through his project, Dev hopes to share the stories and connections that make the Booksmith such a meaningful place. This is Dev’s first experience with digital storytelling, and he is excited to share his project with all of you.
