Noah Krewinghaus
2025 Whipple Writing Fellow

Noah Krewinghaus ‘26 is an Ultimate Frisbee player through and through, having started playing at the age of five on a friend’s farm in Iowa. When they’re off the field you can catch them at home with a cup of tea and a book of poetry, an avid reader, albeit a slow one. Noah is a leader at SHARP (BHS’ Sexual Harassment / Assault Response and Prevention Coalition) and takes part in planning the Day of Change annually. When essays started to be assigned to Noah in 4th grade, which, in retrospect, were more like a paragraph, they would cry for an hour and a half before writing a word. In their junior year they took two English classes, diving into creative writing and analytical essays as often as possible. In Spring of 2022 they began to write poetry and in the Fall of 2024 they bought a typewriter from a friend to continue writing poetry and share their passion with the community.
